The virtual inauguration of the Legal Literacy Club in all the DAV schools of Jharkhand was successfully conducted under the esteemed presence of Honourable Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, Jharkhand High Court, and Chairman of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), Ranchi. The event was further graced by other dignitaries of JHALSA, Ranchi, and Assistant Regional Officers of DAV, Jharkhand zones, who played a significant role in this initiative.The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 90 students from Classes VIII, IX, and X at DAV Rajrappa. The students of Kasturba Balika Vidyalaya also actively engaged in the event by sharing their views regarding the importance and impact of the Legal Literacy Club. Their insights highlighted the necessity of legal awareness among students and how it can empower them to seek justice and understand their rights effectively. To create awareness about legal rights and responsibilities, short documentaries on various social evils were presented. These documentaries aimed to educate the students on the prevalent societal issues and the legal avenues available for seeking justice. The initiative aimed to instil a sense of legal consciousness among students and encourage them to utilize legal resources when required.Honourable ARO-cum-Principal of DAV Jharkhand Zone D, Dr. S. K. Sharma addressed the students of DAV Rajrappa virtually and expressed his thoughts on the significance of the Legal Literacy Club. He also shared insights into the activities already undertaken by the existing Legal Literacy Clubs in DAV schools. His address emphasized the importance of legal education in shaping responsible citizens and ensuring access to justice for all.
