The Van Mahotsav celebrations at DAV Public School, CCL, Rajrappa were held with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Dr. S K Sharma, Principal, DAV Rajrappa. The objective of the event was to promote the importance of trees and encourage students to actively participate in environmental conservation. The event began with a brief speech by Dr. S K Sharma, highlighting the significance of Van Mahotsav and the role of trees in maintaining a healthy environment. He emphasized the need for everyone to contribute to the preservation of nature and urged the students to take an active part in tree plantation drives. Following the speech, Dr. S K Sharma along with staff members and students planted saplings in the school garden.

In addition to the symbolic planting by Dr. S. K. Sharma and the staff, students actively participated in planting saplings around the school campus. This hands-on activity aimed to foster a sense of responsibility and connection with nature among the students. It also provided an opportunity for students to learn about the importance of trees and their role in the ecosystem.
