With the objective of creating awareness among students about important social and legal issues, the Legal Literacy Club of DAV Public School, CCL, Rajrappa Project, under the guidance of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ramgarh, organized Painting and Essay Writing Competitions on 25 July 2026. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, reflecting their awareness, creativity, and commitment towards building a responsible society. The competitions were conducted on the socially significant themes of Drug Menace, Child Marriage, and Cyber Fraud. These themes were carefully chosen to sensitize students towards the legal and social consequences of these growing concerns and to encourage them to become responsible citizens capable of spreading awareness in society. The Painting Competition was organized under the mentorship of Mr. S. K. Mishra, Art Teacher. More than 75 students from Classes VIII to X participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students displayed remarkable artistic talent by portraying the harmful effects of drug abuse, the evils of child marriage, and the increasing threat of cyber fraud through vibrant colours, creative illustrations, and thought-provoking messages. The artworks reflected not only the artistic abilities of the participants but also their understanding of legal rights, social responsibilities, and the importance of creating an informed and vigilant society. Simultaneously, an Essay Writing Competition was conducted under the able guidance of Mrs. Rima. Around 60 students participated in the competition and expressed their views through well-researched, informative, and impactful essays.
