Sanskrit Diwas, a day dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage and significance of the ancient Sanskrit language, was observed with great enthusiasm at DAV Public School, CCL, Rajrappa Project, on August, 19, 2024. The day was marked by various activities and presentations that highlighted the importance of Sanskrit in our culture and education system.
The day began with a special Sanskrit-themed morning assembly, which set the tone for the entire celebration. The assembly was attended by students, teachers, and staff members. The ambiance was filled with an aura of reverence for the language that has been the foundation of Indian knowledge systems.
The highlight of the morning assembly was a speech that shed light on the immense importance of Sanskrit in our cultural and educational heritage. The speech emphasized how Sanskrit, often referred to as the "language of the gods," has been a cradle of knowledge and wisdom for millennia. It highlighted its role in the preservation of ancient texts, scientific discoveries, and spiritual teachings.
